2006 Portside Arts Fair Winners

Boyne City’s Neil Ahrens was the judge for the East Jordan 44th Annual Portside Arts Fair, which was held August 5 & 6, at Elm Pointe.

Petoskey resident, David Pickett’s acrylic landscape was chosen as the 2-dimensional purchase prize.

The 3-dimensional purchase prize was awarded to Julie Devers of Gobles, MI for her stoneware gladiola vase.

Both were first time exhibitors at the fair and their winning pieces became part of the permanent Portside Arts Fair’s Cygred Riley Gallery at Elm Pointe.

Mary Jill Lemieur, Elizabeth Kantzer and Andrea Postma received honorable mention for their 2-dimensional art work.  Honorable mention was also awarded to Russ Henekel, Roger Bulkley and Alice Landis for their work in 3-dimensional media.
